Job Description

KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors.Job Title:Security TutorLocation:NorthWestSalary:£24,000 - £28,600 (Depending on experience) + excellent benefits!Duties:

  • Remote and group delivery of accredited SIA qualifications, meeting the requirements for new and refresher SIA licencing regulations
  • Coach and train learners through programme from enrolment/induction through to completion.
  • Carry out initial assessments and diagnostics to determine learners skills and identify appropriate support.
  • Create, monitor, and review individual learning plans (ILPs) with your learners.
  • Support with preparing, designing and producing schemes of work and workshop/e-earning materials.
  • Support learners with their progression to Apprenticeship or further education.
  • Provide differentiation, flexible delivery methods, and be able to adapt quickly to learners needs.
  • Provide progress feedback to learners and provide support to ensure they meet their set goal / target.
  • Working towards and achieving set targets / KPIs.
Essential Criteria:
  • Hold a level 3 teaching qualification (PTLLS, Award in Education and Training, or above/equivalent
  • Level 3 qualification in the delivery of Conflict Management Training
  • Level 3 Physical Intervention
  • Current SIA Door Supervisor and CCTV qualification with valid SIA licence
  • 3 years minimum occupational competency within security
  • Knowledge and experience of delivering portfolio based teaching
  • Ideally hold Functional Skills to Level 2 in Maths and English
  • Demonstrate energy and passion to motivate and train clients towards securing employment.
  • Enthusiastic individual who is able to make a real impact and make learning exciting.
  • Demonstrate confidence, tenacity and ability to work on own initiative.
