Job Description

  • Scrum Master/Agile Delivery Manager
  • £45,000 - £55,000
  • Remote working with occasional travel
  • Manchester
A public body within the health sector is currently on a lookout for an Agile Scrum Master to work within the digital team ensuring that all tasks of the team are dependent on are identified and successfully managed. You will be working on the delivery of complex software projects using agile methodologies and understandthe need to integrate agile working into the organisation.Main Responsibilities as a Scrum Master:
  • Act as the Scrum master across one or more agile delivery teams ensuring that the teams are supported throughout the development lifecycle
  • Ensure that your team(s) and deliveries adhere to the ES agile development framework and drive continual improvement to the process as required
  • Use appropriate metrics to track and forecast delivery, manage expectations and highlight and improve inefficiencies in ways of working
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across key stakeholders
  • Support business stakeholders, product managers and project managers in identifying any work that needs to be added to the backlog
  • Act as an Agile coach/mentor to your teams, colleagues, and stakeholders
The following skills and experience will be useful:
  • Experienced in the delivery of large complex enterprise CMS projects (such as Sitecore) using agile methodologies across 3rd party and internal teams.
  • Managing complex software changes to production systems
  • Experience in creating and managing project documentation in an Agile environment.
  • Excellent mentoring and coaching to implement and improve agile methodologies and practices across experienced technical teams
  • Excellent organisation skills and communication, both written and verbal
