Founded over 40 years ago in Switzerland, we work with hundreds of talented and innovative individuals from our Head Officein Manchester and across many of the European countries we operate in.Over the last two years, weve rapidly digitised the business and developed our in-house development, test, delivery, product and user-centered design teams, adopted new and elevated existing ways of working, and embraced a product focused mentality.About the positionThe SAP Cloud for Customer Developer will provide technical, hands-on expertise to deliver C4C improvement initiatives and projects.The role will enable the design, development, configuration, maintenance and system improvements impacting the Distrelec Group key users (Sales Teams and Customer Service teams) and will provide technical expertise and guidance in the development of newfeatures and solutions in the SAP C4C landscape.This person will analyse, design, develop, implement, maintain and support SAP Cloud for Customer system changes, enhancements and new initiatives, including consulting and assisting Distrelec in the evaluation, development and implementation of businessprocesses and business requirements relating to SAP C4C functionality.Day-to-day, SAP Cloud for Customer Developer will:

• Advise on implementation best practices for leveraging the SAP CDC plugins, APIs, and SDKs against the appropriate digital technologies via code samples and demonstrations
• Work with within the Distrelec development team to identify design, develop, and deliver scalable and flexible SAP C4C systems from understanding business requirements to solution configuration / integration and creating documentation as necessary
• Design, code, and test the appropriate level of customisations that are identified, reviewed, and prioritised by the Product Manager
• Plan and execute strategy for the migration of existing accounts, subscriptions, and user registration records from existing customer systems into the SAP C4C platform, including, but not limited to Commerce, ERP and SAP Marketing Cloud (SMC)
• Design and implement scheduled batch ETL processes to sync data between the SAP C4C platform and auxiliary systems
• Support with QA and UAT review, as well as pre-launch preparation and planning and assisting with go-live production launch and appropriate level of aftercare support
• Provide holistic advice on technical queries regarding architecture, design, performance, and scalability

We need you to have:

• Demonstrated record of continuous improvement and implementing solutions within SAP Cloud for Customer, with strong technical aptitude and relevant business exposure
• Experience using the SAP Cloud for Customer SDK and significant experience in general configuration, and familiarity with customisation
• Significant experience in implementation, upgrade, support and maintenance
• Knowledge and experience of building, implementing and maintaining iFlows using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (SCPI)
• University degree or comparative level of industry experience and knowledge
• Advanced proficiency in English
