Job Description

Create, manage and implement insights-based sales and marketing objectives and activities across a portfolio of relevant stakeholders. This role is an exciting client facing role for a global pharmaceutical company.Client DetailsMy client is a global pharmaceuticals company with offices in Manchester. They are a family run business who are looking for a new sales and marketing manager to further extend their presence in the pharmaceutical industry.DescriptionThe key responsibilities of the Sales and Marketing Manager will include:

  • Develop and implement insights-based product and marketing activities, such as market access, launch and pre-launch, and variations management in line with framework requirements and market position and company pipeline.
  • Collaborating with the Sales Team and other stakeholders to develop and implement product plans, materials, and activities.
  • Customer engagement activities including insights gathering to increase product area expertise including product usage and handling, international activities, data generation and clinical guidance and product and educational projects.
  • Contributing to the development of framework strategies by providing clinical, commercial, and competitor insights and analysis with relevant stakeholders.
  • Being an integral and active member of the International Business Unit, attending meetings and congresses as required.
  • Maintain and demonstrate an up-to-date knowledge of products, pricing, competitor activity, commercial environments, and scientific developments in the assigned therapy areas.
  • In collaboration with the Scientific Service Manager develop, coordinate, support and implement scientific service activities both on and off label in line with the PMCPA code of practice and other regulations.
ProfileThe Sales and Marketing manager must have the following:
  • A Bachelor of Science Degree or above in a Life Science or related field; or equivalent.
  • Must be ABPI Qualified
Desirable skills and experience:
  • Sales and marketing experience in the Pharmaceutical industry
  • Proven commercial and business acumen to facilitate decision making will be beneficial with the ability to use insights to develop materials and activities a core part of the role.
  • A desire to collaborate with all stakeholders to develop concepts, activities and materials is a necessity and will often require project-based work.
  • Be able to travel across the UK and Ireland will be necessary with regular international travel for meetings and congresses
