Job Description

The Sales Engineer will continue the territory growth strategy of its TEST products. TEST products are focused on materials testing equipment for a diverse range of industries such as pharmaceutical, food, automotive, aerospace, defence,and packaging.

  • Technical and relationship sales, heavily application-focused in response to enquiries from our customers and new leads
  • Qualifying leads and converting them to satisfied customers
  • Managing relationships with existing key accounts and developing new key accounts
  • Feedback voice of customer information to enable continuous new product development
  • Installation and training at the customer site of new equipment
  • Application software technical support
  • General account, contact and opportunity management in our CRM
  • Weekly reporting and forecasting
  • Supporting distributors demonstrate the benefits of our systems and providing a solution to their testing requirements
  • Web seminar and tradeshow support as required
  • Marketing support as required
To be successful in this role of Sales Engineer we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:
  • A Bachelors Degree in an Engineering discipline
  • 5 or more years of experience in application sales
  • Experience selling hardware and software into quality control / R&D / production environments
  • Experience configuring software systems including simple programming using macros / visual sequence builders
  • Ability to travel 50% of the territory
