Job Description

Customers today wont put up with filling out countless forms, switching channels, mailing documents and waiting weeks for their product to be processed.Established in 2017, our client is a rapidly growing, ambitious Technology business serving the Financial Services industry. The Co-Founders have developed a total messaging solution which instantly connects Financial Services providers and their customers.Their award-winning network smooths away the frustrations of paper, phone and email-based processes.They have amassed over 3000 5* reviews, 1000 app downloads a day, over 50,000 monthly active users and incredible efficiency & conversion results delivered across their client base - and the journey is just beginning.Following a recent top up investment round, with the aim of scaling the business significantly, they are looking to bring on board a Sales Director. This is a unique opportunity for a senior leadership position in a venture backed FinTech scale up with responsibilityto take a proven product, deliver gowth, and have a share in the success. Reporting to one of the Co-Founders/CEO, the incoming Sales Director will hold accountability for the sales agenda, leading from the front driving growth, whilst developing the salesteam and driving bes practice.Critical impact areas for the incoming Sales Director will include:Leadership

  • Ownership and accountability for the sales function
  • Optimisation of the sales practice; consistently driving best practice
  • Develop and implement a coaching culture, demonstrating by example and creating an environment for success
  • Pipeline management with clear and concise board level reporting
Origination
  • Lead from the front by personally identifying and winning new business opportunities
  • Establish and maintain meaningful, long-standing relationships with key stakeholders at senior level within target markets
  • Deliver on KPIs, ensuring these are appropriate to drive the right activity and behaviours individually (& across the team)
  • Always uphold the highest standards in sales performance
Candidate:Market/Industry ExperienceA proven and successful sales background in the Tech industry is essential. Expertise across SaaS (Software as a Service), FinTech (Financial Technology), RegTech (Regulatory Technology) in the Financial Services and Professional Services markets is desirable.LeadershipMotivates & Inspires others.
