The Seamark Group of Companies is an international operation that specialises in processing, distributing and exporting a wide varietyof frozen seafood.Job RoleFor continuing growth, Seamark is looking for an enthusiastic Sales Development Executive to join our growing sales team.Salary - From £26,500 + Performance Bonus

  • The principal responsibility of the role is to acquire new business, both from a pre- defined prospect list of customers and from your own initiative.
  • Proactively making calls to existing and potential new customers
  • Building up a good relationship between our business and customers
  • Identifying new business opportunities using all tools possible, handling all inbound sales calls from customers who wish to discuss our products.
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Understanding the competitor presence within your territory
  • Ensuring that all customers and sales information are accurately recorded in a timely manner
  • Following all internal processes to support the customer journey
  • Suggesting ideas for continual improvement and growth
Skills required
  • Must have 2 years of experience in a sales related role
  • Knowledge of ethnic food / seafood market range and current portfolio
  • Great attention to detail and highly organised
  • Consultative approach to sales
  • Desire and hunger to learn, develop and progress within the business
  • Target driven with a sense of ownership and pride in performance and its impact on the success of the company
  • Having knowledge of the seafood industry is an advantage
