Job Description

Job title: Sales and Purchase Ledger ClerkSalary: £27-29kLocation: Manchester (Hybrid working available)Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm (Flexible working available)Job Type: Full time, PermanentI am looking for an experienced Sales and Purchase Ledger Clerk for my Manchester based client. This is a great opportunity to work with a progressive and forward thinking company.Main Responsibilities

  • Process EDI trading purchase invoices electronically and manually when necessary
  • Run the sales invoices processes
  • Run system checks to ensure all processing is complete to meet deadlines
  • Cancel any incorrect invoices or credits and reissue where required
  • Process debit and credit notes
  • Receiving purchase invoices and documents via e mail and print and forward documents to all customers
  • Query resolution working with OneIT and SCM
  • Support colleagues with general finance tasks.
Person Specification:
  • IT literate (i.e. Excel; Word)
  • Experience of purchase and sales invoice processing.
  • Good communication skills in order to handle customer queries.
  • Knowledge of SAP or any other similar systems.
