Job Description

Energy Sales and Customer Support PositionBlackburn Area - Hybrid Working£30,000 per annumOur client prides itself to be the first commercialised Peer-to-Peer energy exchange in the UK which connect renewable generators of any size to corporate and domestic consumers and deliver higher margins to renewable generators, saving on energy bills to consumersand 100% tracible NetZero to their clients. If you are a hardworking, self-driven, team-player person who wants to make big changes and enjoy the rewards, please get in touch.Day to Day Tasks* Signing tenants up to the UC Energy electricity tariffs in an efficient and effective way. Working with internal and external colleagues to ensure customers are signed up in a timely manner prior to installation of the Solar PV and battery equipment. Whetherthis will be over the phone, or in person on site, working in conjunction with contractors and tenant liaison officers.* Carrying out administrative duties associated with the tenant sign ups, ensuring all regulations are adhered to and any objections are dealt with quickly.* Dealing with tenants queries and objections via phone calls, email or in house call center, in relation to the supply and billing of the tenants.* Completing all necessary documentation so the switch process works effectively and smoothly, ensuring the tenants are informed all the way through the process and the times and dates of switches happens as planned. Ensuring a seamless switch for the tenantsto avoid any disruption or inconvenience, through the switch and billing processes.* Work with the energy team to coordinate, produce and send out energy bills by post or email. Ensure the billing is correct and invoices to customers are correct.* Working with the team to coordinate the installation of Smart meter upgrades in tenanted properties as required.* To use a portal to assist in responding to customer queries regarding their installation and energy agreement, ensuring the system is working correctly and the tenants bills are correct.* Support tenants and contractors and during the installation ensuring the tenants opts in to the energy agreement and are fully aware of the deal being offered.* Work with both internal and external contractors on promoting the unique offer to tenants at tenant meetings, social events and other means of communications etc as an when required.* To feedback to THG, contractors and UC both positive and negative views from tenants and propose ways to improve our processes.Skills and Experience Required* Energy Experience* Tech Experience* Strong communication knowledge and numerical skills* Strong Excel skills * Ability to follow up accounts* Full driving license.
