With an unrivalled track record of incredibly strong year on year growth of its subscription modelbusiness, our client supports over 70,000 organisations across the UK & Ireland.About the roleThis role is an exciting opportunity to act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead for the organisation, supporting the EAP teams in the daily management of risk and safeguarding for their service users. The primary focus is to ensure the EAP teams are supportedthrough appropriate training and that individuals are working in line with internal clinical governance.The role will act as a source of support across EAP teams - ensuring appropriate actions are taken in line with internal policies and ensuring the wellbeing of team members following complex calls. As part of the role, you will also be a point of escalationfor complex cases.Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Acting as the Designated Safeguarding Lead - monitoring and managing referrals to external services, including social services and police
  • Acting as a point of escalation for complex cases and complete robust clinical assessments to ensure appropriate support is provided to service users
  • Acting as a source of support, providing advice and expertise to Counsellors and Advisors following high risk and safeguarding calls, ensuring correct actions are taken in line with internal procedures
  • Completing case audits and quality assessments to ensure appropriate referrals to ongoing support are made by Counsellors
  • Competing coaching sessions with counsellors to ensure best practice when working with risk and safeguarding
  • Acting as Clinical Lead and attend client meetings upon request - providing thought leadership and guidance
Key Requirements
  • Minimum level 4 diploma in Counselling & minimum of 300 Counselling hours
  • Accredited member of the BACP
  • Excellent communication and sound clinical judgement
