Job Description

In this core Risk and Insurance role you will bring your risk and controls experience to work with the Group Risk Team in ensuring that management have a clear and current view of the key business and programme/project risks the organisation faces.Client DetailsThe client are a PLC in Greater Manchester with a Global reach.DescriptionThe Risk Business Partners responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;Risk Management

  • Working Group-wide in an efficient Business Partnering capacity, running risk workshops and helping the business to use CAMMS to document risks and controls.
  • Displaying sound commercial awareness to support Management and SLT in identifying emerging risks.
  • Providing first class risk and controls guidance in line with the level of independence required from this core 2nd line function.
Insurance
  • Supporting the Risk & Insurance Business Partner, undertaking essential insurance support activity and provide insurance cover and resilience within the team.
  • Building strong relationships with a large number of external underwriters and solicitors.
  • Support the team in developing and presenting high quality insurance management information.
General
  • Able to develop high quality Board reporting and MI on all aspects of risk management and insurance.
  • First class relationship management, organisation and inter-personal skills to establish a role as a trusted Business Partner.
ProfileTo qualify for the Risk Business Partner;Highly Desirable
  • Qualified Auditor, Accountant or Risk Management professional.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong team player with a desire to ensure that the team is resilient and continuously improves.
Desirable
  • Previous insurance strategy or claims management experience.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and time pressure in a professional and balanced manner.
