Job Description

Risk Assurance Assistant Manager ManchesterUp to £45,000Are you a skilled and ambitious professional with a passion for risk management and assurance Do you possess strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you!We are currently seeking a talented Risk Assurance Assistant Manager to join a leading professional services firm in Manchester. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in providing valuable insights and ensuring effective risk managementfor our clients. The progression for this position will ideally be towards manager and eventually senior manager for the right candidate.Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of internal audit clients
  • Provide internal audit assurance in compliance with IIA IPPF and PSIAS standards and the principles of good governance
  • Strong experience of working within practice and have exposure to the essential elements of client service and delivery
  • Ideally be working within a Managerial capacity already or aspiring to as part of your journey
  • Ad hoc duties will arise in supporting the local partners as necessary
Requirements:
  • Ideally you will have experience in risk management, internal audit, or related field.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Professional certifications such as CMIIA, CIA, ACA or ACCA (or equivalent)
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and stakeholders at various levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality work.
  • Experience with industry-specific regulations and standards (e.g., financial services, healthcare, manufacturing) is a plus.
