Job Description

The Retrofit Surveyor will take overall responsibility for overseeing the assessment of dwellings, the identification, specification, evaluation of energy efficiency measures for installation, oversee installation works at a given dwelling and their subsequent monitoring and evaluation.Client DetailsA forward thinking and rapidly growing housing provider with stock across the North West.Description

  • To develop our retrofit programme
  • Housing energy assessments
  • To project manage the retrofit works on site from start to finish including planning, organising and managing each project
  • Provide consultants and contractors with informed advice and support
  • Provide assurance that project risks are being effectively managed and quality is being maintained
  • Identify and provide solutions for possible risks to the retrofit process
  • To liaise with our customers before, during and after the retrofit works
  • Undertake pre and post works evaluations to determine the overall success and ensure that lessons are learned for future projects
  • End to end project management of retrofit work including inception of retrofit project to handover
  • Build relationships within Great Places and with key stakeholders
  • Research and identify funding opportunities for retrofit work and innovation
  • Responsible for the coordination and delivery of successful retrofit projects
  • Report on measures and targets on a regular intervals
  • To effectively manage and forecast budgets
    • Profile
  • Experience of deep retrofit in the domestic sector
  • Experience in business development / networking
  • Have an excellent knowledge of building physics particularly insulation, air tightness, ventilation, thermal bridging.
  • Have strong IT skills
  • Qualified to degree level in surveying or a relevant field
  • DEA/OCDEA
