Job Description

Location: Various across ManchesterResidential Support Worker - Children & Young PeoplePay: £11.50 per hour.Hours: 42.5 per week(£50 extra for sleep in and if woken up they get the hourly rate on top of this also)Our Client is based across 4 different locations in the Greater Manchester area and they have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Residential Support Worker at one of their Residential Childrens Homes. They are registered for 2 residential placements foreach location. This service provides a caring, stable and nurturing home, in an informal atmosphere, catering for the needs of young people from 11 to 17 years of age on admittance. In consultation with local authorities, our client provides medium to long-term residentialcare for young people with challenging behaviour, complex needs, and children on the periphery of offending.They are looking for a Senior Residential Support Worker to join an already established team. They can offer a competitive salary, career and training development and fantastic working conditions.Candidates must possess:* Minimum of Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification.* Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker in a residential childrens home, specialising in EBD and young people with complex welfare histories* Experience of working with young people in a residential setting.* Experience of supervising a team.* Full UK driving license - willing to use own car as required (required business insurance pre induction shifts) and ability to drive minibus where applicableIf you feel you meet the above criteria and have the drive and determination to succeed.
