Job Description

Residential Conveyancing Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Paralegal, CILEX, Sale, Purchase, Conveyancer, Residential Property, Locum, Permanent, ManchesterResidential Conveyancing Solicitor / Licenced Conveyancer / Paralegal is required by a small and friendly High Street Practice, based in South Manchester, M14 7DS.Our client is a small high street practice offering a specialist service to clients. They pride themselves in providing clients with a personal service with the intention of building a relationship for life. This practice values its’ employees & believes that staff are not just a number, they are looking for a long-term, permanent addition to their team.You will be a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or experienced Paralegal with at least 1 years’ experience as part of a busy conveyancing department. This is an exciting opportunity for a Residential Conveyancer looking for personal and career growth opportunities; allowing you to build upon your experience within a modern and dynamic practice.The Role & Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of Residential Conveyancing transactions.
  • You should be experienced in all aspects of Residential Conveyancing, including: New builds, Re mortgage, help to buy, shared ownership and general sales & purchases including flats.
  • Commercial conveyancing experience would be an advantage, as would experience in leases, and subprime commercial mortgages.
  • Communicating with clients to receive instructions and give advice.
  • Working with Estate agents and Solicitors.
  • Working with Land Registry documents and title deeds.
  • The ideal candidate should be proactive and self-motivated, they should be a strong communicator to people at all levels.
  • The firm is located in a very diverse location and have clients from a broad range of ethnicities. The ability to speak an additional language is preferred but not essential.
  • Carrying out checks prior to drafting contracts to see if there are any structural issues with the property.
  • You will manage the transactions pro-actively through to exchange and completion while delivering strong client service and developing established relationships.
  • Candidates must be capable of running their own matters, with the assistance of a Case Management System.
  • It is essential for you to be IT literate with good typing skills.
