A rapid growth in the adoption of automated systems combined with a track record of pioneering intelligent storagepackages has led to requirement to expand our support team.A FAB ROLE - START ASAP !JOB DESCRIPTION (full training and flexibility required) The role of REMOTE SUPPORT ENGINEER is an exciting role that involves providing vital support assistance for automated machines across the world. With time it will also provide the opportunity to work onsite with some of the machines.**You will be offered the opportunity to develop within the role and work on any projects you think may benefit your abilities or the company’s product selection**

  • We are looking for a candidate that has a keen interest in learning and growing and thinks with training they can adapt to this role.
  • You also need to have the ability to work on multiple things at once and can work under pressure.
  • You will need to work on several machines at the same time which will require a calm and collected approach to your work.
  • Ideally you will have an eye for efficiency and working out where you can increase your productivity.
  • Flexibility is a key part of the position and our staff love the ability to influence their shift patterns each week.
  • You will work a 40 hour week and will cover 5 shifts a week.
The shifts consist of either 6am - 1pm or 1pm to 8pm and will be across week and weekend days.Once you have completed your training and spent some time mastering the systems, you will also be added to the monthly weekend nightshift which involves an 8pm - 6pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday shift.This role is based from home, however you may be asked to occasionally visit a site or head office for training purposes which they will pay for.You will receive full on the job training which will consist of shadowing our various senior engineers as they guide you through the functions of the machines and how to trouble shoot any of the number of issues that arise. In the future youwill also be afforded the opportunity to work as an onsite engineer if you wish and this will include the option to travel to many different countries to assist with the smooth operation of our equipment.Key Role Elements - Remote Support
  • Converse with the clients and establish their issue while acting to maintain the reputation of our company in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Working to resolve physical machine issues remotely through a computer, carefully analysing all the available data to work safely to resolve the issue quickly.
  • Utilizing your skills to triage multiple jobs as they come in ensuring that the most pressing are dealt with first, while ensuring the rest are still completed in a timely manner.
  • Reporting of persistent issues or breakdowns through the appropriate channels, ensuring a thorough and accurate description of the issue is given.
  • Working out of hours on a rota basis to provide our customers with 24/7 support (following extensive training and time spent in the role)
  • Working independently predominantly but with the ability to work with a team when required.
  • Team work is especially important when requiring assistance on a problem or helping others with theirs. You must be able to ask for help!
Working from home - you must be able to focus while on shift to provide our clients with a fast and efficient service.
