Job Description

Join us as a Remediation Associate

  • Youll be supporting all aspects of the remediation journey, including scoping, policy and procedure design, operational design and oversight, and the delivery of change
  • With your work, youll assist in delivering good governance and customer outcomes on remediation projects
  • The pace of change and associated development opportunities will create an engaging and supportive environment for you and help develop a broad range of transferable skills
What youll doAs a Remediation Associate, youll be helping to scope, design, oversee, monitor, assure and deliver change, throughout the entire journey of remediation projects, balancing regulatory expectations, commercial success, risk appetite and customer outcomes. Youllalso support in the identification and implementation of improvements by monitoring quality and effective root cause analysis, read across and the analysis of wider bank data and control requirements, e.g. complaints, policy change, One-Bank synergies. Day-to-day, youll be:
  • Supporting management in providing insight, guidance and challenge throughout the remediation journey and taking ownership where needed on specific aspects
  • Remaining connected by building good stakeholder and working relationships across the relevant support functions
  • Developing a good understanding of the current and future regulatory landscape across relevant businesses and their processes, policies and systems
The skills youll needWere looking for someone with good stakeholder management and advanced excel skills. You should have some experience of remediation projects, principle, methodologies and any qualifications, and it would be an advantage if you have experience and understandingof Records Management, although the latter is not essential to be considered for the role. Youll also bring:
  • The ability to analyse and interpret data, from a wide range of source, against bank policy, and use this to drive simple, practical and effective remediation policy and plans
  • Good planning and organisation skills, allowing prioritisation of workloads, time and resources
  • Good knowledge of financial services and banking and regulatory and operational risk
