Job Description

Job Title: Relationship ManagerLocation: ManchesterThe Bank:An established, stable and successful commercial bank with nationwide coverage and great technology who continue to expand and diversify.Summary of Role:

  • To execute new business from sanction to completion and manage and develop a portfolio of customers in the Real Estate, Healthcare, Hospitality & Leisure sectors.
    • Summary of Responsibilities:
  • Deliver new business opportunities from existing portfolio
  • Accountable for pro-active management of the portfolio from origination, in-life to close-out/repayment in line with company policy and procedures
  • Comply with banks strategy, risk, regulatory and operational policies
  • To positively represent and promote the banks proposition in the external market
  • Collaborate with the wider Commercial team and other internal business units to deliver great customer outcomes
  • Ability to articulate new business propositions and annual reviews (Quality credit applications, deal specifics and detailed risk appraisals) to Credit Committee
    • Essential Knowledge & Experience:
  • Advanced technical skills and experience in the execution of REF and/or Healthcare and/or Hospitality & Leisure transactions to achieve the best outcomes for customers and the bank
  • Proven track record of relationship management in a commercial banking (or very similar) environment
