Job Description

Join us as a Regulatory Reporting Analyst, IFRS9 & ECL

  • This is a unique opportunity to join an area which has a significant focus across the bank
  • Youll be contributing to the delivery of controlled and accurate regulatory outcomes, primarily IFRS9 and ECL
  • This role will provide you with a platform to keep building your knowledge and expertise, positioning you well for the next stage in your career
  • We offer a h ybrid way of working where youll be based in the office at least two days a week, with the rest of your time working from home
What youll doAs a Regulatory External Reporting Analyst, youll be making sure that regulatory reporting outcomes are delivered in a controlled manner that complies with our risk and control framework. Day-to-day, youll be:
  • Helping to provide ad hoc analysis and making sure that reporting requests are completed to a high standard
  • Assisting with internal monthly franchise and legal entity reporting
  • Developing an understanding of the regulatory reporting outcomes and the necessary systems needed to deliver these
  • Preparing and posting journals that are needed for regulatory outcomes
  • Reviewing and challenging data inputs and controlled production of working files, using a range of inputs
The skills youll needWere looking for someone with an understanding of financial or regulatory reporting to join us in this role. Attention to detail is crucial, and youll also bring excellent numerical and analytical skills. Ideally, youll have a good understanding of risk metrics and hands on knowledge of SAS, but this isnt essential. Youll also need:
  • The ability to manage changing requirements of customers and stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise your own workload
  • The ability to work well as part of a team
