Job Description

We are seeking a Regional Team Leader with strong experience and understanding of biomedical / medical devices to cover the northern region.Responsible for managing all field-based staff within the region as applicable. Ensuring that all engineers provide daily on-site repair, preventative maintenance, and asset management of medical devices within specified hospital locations in region.As the Regional Team Leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Recruit, induct, develop, and support a team of Biomed Engineers to deliver customer satisfaction and contract KPIs
  • Supervise the workload of all technical staff within region, allocating team members as needed to optimise productivity
  • Perform preventative maintenance (PM) on medical equipment as per manufacturers guidelines when required
  • Complete repairs as required on medical equipment as per manufacturers guidelines when required
  • Coordinate and attend regular customer meetings
  • Directly support the Operations Manager as needed

The successful candidate will have the following related skills / experience:
  • Certified OEM trainings
  • Qualification in Engineering, electronics, or medical technologies such as biomedical engineering, desirably at bachelors level, or grandfathered experience
  • Familiarity with appropriate national and local regulatory standards
  • Minimum of 5 years staff management
  • A minimum of ten years Biomedical experience
