Job Description

Recruitment Solutions Specialist - Oracle Cloud HCM5m FTCManchesterIntelligent Resource are working with a reputable retailer in Manchester who are looking for a specialist to support the development of the Recruitment Function Module in their CoreHR implementation.You will liaise with business stakeholders to ensure requirements are fully understood and these are delivered in-line with BAU operation or longer term project activity.As a technical SME you will demonstrate an understanding of Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions and have a good understanding of the wider system architecture/infrastructure. Youll be someone who can communicate complex technical issues and solutions to an audience with a wide range of technical abilities. You love to make things happen and get excited about identifying and delivering simple solutions to complex problems, at pace. As a solutions specialist. you will play a key role in helping shape the future through the delivery of new tools that resolve complex issues, and make life easier for colleagues across the business.What you need to do

  • Understand your business stakeholders needs. Help ensure that business process requirements are appropriately documented, prioritised and managed through the adoption of appropriate methodologies
  • Work with the solution manager and business stakeholders to develop a technology road map for each of your product areas that aligns to and enables the overall HR vision and strategy
  • Work under the guidance of your Solution Owner and in partnership with the wider HR solutions team, Senior Architects and technical delivery & operations teams to design and deliver a forward thinking system functionality
  • Provide advice for functionality implementation; including a thorough understanding of all associated business processes and objectives, whilst providing the solution knowledge and insight needed to support stakeholders across the business
  • Support the review of major product upgrades and regular system patching for your areas of responsibility ensuring that all new functionality is impact assessed, required business process design decisions are made and implementation planning is fed into Solution Owner
  • Work with implementation partners to ensure that the configuration of your solution areas meets the transformational needs of the business whilst balancing the objectives of projects
  • Track and manage through to closure any configuration gaps for your area of responsibility
  • Create and track service & enhancement requests with Oracle for your product area - escalating any issues with resolution where necessary
  • Work with our business teams to support the documentation of system designs, including business processes (current and future), data mapping and other detailed deliverables
  • When faced with challenge, consider a range of solutions ensuring these solutions are customer-focused whilst balancing with wider organisational needs
  • Be flexible in your approach, including providing cover for other members of the team and, dependant on size and complexity, undertaking project management activities where necessary
  • Develop an external network that are utilised for benchmarking, and to find out what is happening in other organisations in terms of HCM technology
  • Support the definition and execution of our overall HR technology strategy
  • What you need to know
  • BA/BSc degree or relevant experience in a similar technical role
  • Experience of implementing/ configuring Oracle HCM Cloud or Taleo talent management solutions
  • A track record of supporting the delivery of business change within a commercial environment
  • Experience of engaging with and managing multiple stakeholders within large organisations
  • A working understanding of project delivery methodologies (e.g. Agile and Waterfall)
  • Experience and understanding of the retail industry and relevant technologies, is preferable
  • End to end project delivery experience preferable
