Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has come up for a Recruitment and HR Officer to join an exciting, successful, growing business based in Trafford. The role is on a full time, permanent basis. The role requires a focus on both recruitment and HR with the ability towork in a fast paced environment, the role would entail the following:

  • Being involved in the whole lifecycle of recruitment, including liaising with managers and agencies, posting adverts and arranging interviews.
  • Shortlisting applications, screening candidates and making decisions on the suitability of candidates for roles.
  • Carrying out the relevant testing on potential employees, organising and analysing these tests.
  • On boarding new employees and reviewing the current process for this, making changes where relevant.
  • Keeping job descriptions up to date.
  • Assessing managers on their interviews and looking into training that can be provided in order to further enhance the interview processes in the company.
  • Attending first level investigations, disciplinary and grievance meetings, advising managers on the most suitable actions to be taken.
  • Advising managers on company policies, procedures and ensuring these are followed.
  • Dealing with first level queries and escalating these as and when required.
My client is looking for a self-motivated individual who has the ability to use their own initiative having had extensive experience working in Recruitment either internally or for an agency or in a HR role. The salary is £28,000-£31,000 per annum dependanton experience. You must demonstrate a professional and positive approach to work with the ability to work pro-actively.
