Job Description

Reconciliations - Systems Manager / Permanent Role / North Manchester / Excellent Salary + Benefits + Career DevelopmentNC Associates are working in partnership with a market leading international organisation who are looking to recruit a Reconciliations - Systems Manager. This role will report into the Financial Controller and will oversee the sales/cash controls and reconciliationacross various platforms for online transactions.Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring sales are integrating correctly from various platforms into our core systems.
  • Owning reconciliation for sales and cash for online fascias and payment methods.
  • Investigation and reporting of unreconciled payment/sales transactions.
  • Improving reconciliation controls for existing process and implementing controls for new propositions.
  • Developing and documenting detailed procedures related to reconciliation activities.
  • Working with Technology teams to identify system gaps, then develop and implement solutions to resolve.
  • Own the relationship with Payment Providers and Payment Gateways from a Finance perspective
  • Owner from a reconciliation and payment side for marketplace and new direct sales channels
  • Prioritising workload effectively and allocation of workload on a day to day basis to ensure all SLAs are adhered to and team objectives are met.
  • Work proactively with internal colleagues across a variety of departments.
  • Ad hoc projects.
  • Month end process/reports.
Experience Required
  • CIMA / ACCA / ACA Qualified Accountant (Desirable)
  • Have experience in manipulating large quantities of data for multiple scenarios.
  • Passion to get involved in transactional level data.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel
  • SQL experience
  • Ability to look beyond the numbers to identify issues, anomalies and understand root cause.
  • Adaptable to changing priorities and requests.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
