Job Description

Our client is a leading mid-market Private Equity firm seeking a professional, motivated, and experienced Receptionist to act as front of house in our Manchester city centre office.This role will be largely organisational, and you will be the point of contact for all meeting room bookings including the co-ordination of rooms via MS Outlook.They are looking for a person who has excellent inter-personal and communication skills with a bright and bubbly personality. Previous experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment is essential to this role.Desired characteristics

Receptionist responsibilities Ensure the reception area is presentable at all timesAnswering all incoming calls and directing as necessary including fielding cold/sales calls in a polite manner and relaying accurate messages promptly via emailGreeting incoming visitors in a timely mannerEnsure meeting rooms are ready for client meetings to include:
  • refreshments provided as necessary
  • meeting rooms are presentable
  • cables and floor boxes are neat under tables
  • chairs are pushed in
  • blinds are up
Ensure smooth co-ordination of meeting room bookings via MS OutlookEnsuring all meeting room IT equipment is in full working order / assisting with call setupsRecord all visitors on Sky Visitor (in-house online visitor portal)Office Administrator responsibilities Ordering consumables as necessary to include:
  • kitchen roll, tea, coffee etc
  • office stationery
  • printer cartridges
  • milk, fruit orders and newspapers (changes/cancellations as necessary)
Carrying out daily checks to include:
  • visitor record completed daily for incoming meetings/visitors
  • printers are in full working order to include paper restocked
  • communal areas are presentable to include all meeting rooms
  • social table is cleared of old newspapers/magazines
  • being mindful of ESG when using suppliers
