Job Description

React Native Developer - up to £50,000 - Remote/ MCR + Benefits Role Overview A React Native mobile app developer. You will be working on one of the most well-known android and IOS mobile apps in the UK and you will be working with up to date, and new technologies and features and you will need to be able to consider how these couldbe utilised to improve this award winning teams apps. The opportunity comes with multiple benefits, an award-winning team and a clear progression plan.Key ResponsibilitiesAdding and maintaining existing product featuresCommunicate regularly to the widder group regarding updates and progression on a daily basisYou must be keen and driven to keep up to date with new technologies and features and consider how these could be used to improve the appYou will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environmentSkills/Experience needed

  • Previous experience of developing and supporting React Native iOS and/or Android apps is desirable, but non-Native, standard React experience will be considered
  • React Skills include JavaScript (ES6+ syntax), React Hooks, Redux, ReactJS. Ideally some experience of React Native but we will provide training
  • Able to build great layouts using JSX, HTML and CSS
  • Understanding Apple Xcode and/or Android Studio
  • Experience with Git or Bitbucket is desirable
  • Experience of design patterns.
  • Knowledge of consuming REST APIs and JSON in an e-commerce environment is beneficial.
  • Continuous Integration experience helpful
  • Experience with Unit testing, UI Testing beneficial
