Currently recruiting for a R&D Scientist for a leading ink manufacturer to work within a dynamic R&D team for their site based in Greater Manchester. As a R&D Scientist, you will be responsible for planning and implementing ad range of formulation based research projects supporting the ink-jet function, including research activities within areas such as polymer formulation, colour matching, colourants and ink physical properties.To be considered for this R&D Scientist you will be degree educated in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry or closely related subject, with significant experience spent within the inks or coatings sector, ideally with water-based inkjet formulation experience. We will also consider applicants with a strong formulation background in inks, coatings, dispersions and colourants.. This role also requires some level of flexibility, with any normal year the role requiring around 10% travel nationally and internationally.Key Responsibilities
