Job Description

Job Title: Quality ManagerSalary: Up to £40,498 per annumHoliday Allowance: 25 days plus 8 Bank holidaysLocation: Manchester City CentreA new opportunity has arisen to join The Growth Company’s Employment department as a Quality Manager. The successful candidate for this role will need experience in a Quality Manager role and have a strong understanding of business units, Ofsted and different funding bodies.The main purpose of this role is to manage all aspects of Quality Assurance including, but not limited to; observations, feedback, safeguarding, self-assessment, workforce development and training, policies and procedures and to support curriculum design across multiple contracts. Development and maintenance of the QA calendar, quality improvement planning and alignment with industry practice and accreditations.Experience required:

  • Assessor/IV/EV/IQA/EQA qualifications
  • Experience of safeguarding processes, procedures and requirements for young people and vulnerable adults
  • Excellent communication skills - IT (good range of packages), oral, written, presentation and listening
  • Ability to network and to develop positive working relationships with a wide range of people from a variety of organisations
  • Excellent organisational skills - ability to plan and manage own workload
  • Good general standard of education
  • Excellent co-ordination skills to co-ordinate a varied schedule of CPD support workshops and underpinning training programmes
  • Ability to devise agendas and produce succinct working documents
  • Good knowledge of employment and skills programmes
  • Research and analytical skills
  • Established experience in the Careers, Employment and Education arenas
  • Established experience of participation in Ofsted inspection, preferably as a nominee; and matrix assessment
