Job Description

As a Quality Inspector, you will be carrying out the final inspection for key products both visually and physically. This role offers a varied workday and will involve supporting the quality department with parts inspection.Client DetailsOur client is a leading manufacturer in the industrial sector with a significant presence in Manchester.   • Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shipping.
  • Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.
  • Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services.
  • Measure product dimensions, examine functionality and compare the final product to the specifications.
  • Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control.
  • Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.
  • Teach the production team about quality control concerns to improve product excellence.
  • Supervise the production process to ensure that all products meet quality expectations.
ProfileA successful Quality Inspector should have:
  • A degree in quality, industrial or mechanical engineering.
  • Proficiency with precision measuring tools.
  • The ability to interpret blueprints and product specifications.
  • Excellent knowledge of quality control standards and statutory regulations.
  • In-depth understanding of the manufacturing process and quality control techniques.
