Job Description

Your new roleHere at Highways England, we are currently recruiting for a Quality & Performance Analyst to join our team which can be based in Manchester, Warrington or Penrith. The successful candidate will be supporting performance management and measurement across the North West Region.What youll be supporting

  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement across the region by ensuring that performance feedback and lessons learned are captured, owned, tracked and monitored through to delivery.
  • Deliver the allocated elements of the regions quality and performance reporting, ensuring that positive performance is recognised, and quality improvement plans are created to address poor performance.
  • Obtain, review, collate and submit external performance data
  • Liaise with Area subject matter experts to review queries, validate scores and undertake scoring meetings with the Contractors
  • Assist the Contractors on Improvement Plans to improve their scores and minimise nonconformities
  • Act as a point of liaison with Highways Englands Central Performance Team with queries and amendments
  • Support the Senior Quality and Performance Analyst in the administration and management of performance.
  • Provide secretariat to Process and Performance Working Group and other Task Finish Groups as necessary.
  • Provide support to other members of the Quality and Performance Team and maintain resilience.
  • Administer the Risk Registers ensuring timely reviews and mitigations.
  • Assist with the development, collation and reporting on internal performance measures to provide the data to enable improvement opportunities and efficiencies.
    • To be successful
  • Previous experience in collating and analysing performance data.
  • Previous experience in maintaining collaborative commercial relationships with supply chain preferred
    • Excellent understanding of Quality Management Systems, value stream mapping and quality measurement requirements and methods
  • Good data and information management and reporting skills (inc. use of relevant tools /applications).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Visio, Microsoft Projects, is desirable
  • Experience of working on complex service based contracts is preferred
