Our comprehensiveand fully integrated range of marketing and business support solutions are underpinned by best-in-class technology, process automation and amazing people, and we pride ourselves on combining creativity and innovation to deliver exceptional brand experiencesand improved workplace performance for some of the worlds leading brands.Based out of the Manchester office in the CCM Quality Analysis Team and reporting to the CCM Quality Analysis Manager, the Quality Analyst will have the following responsibilities: Checking that print development applications or process changes supplied by the Customer Communications Management Development Team exhibit correct business functionality, logic and are compliant with print specifications. This responsibility may laterbe expanded to testing infrastructure changes and applications for Web and databases. Results of testing to be recorded on bespoke test plans or pro-forma checklists. Adhering to the applicable CCM Quality Analysis Team workflow for the application or process change under test and development. Following standard test plans or designing bespoke test plans as required for new conversions and change requests. Taking responsibility for seeing through testing of large-scale changes. Completing admin tasks such as timesheets, tracking documents and loggers. Checking the testing pipeline at regular intervals to keep abreast of outstanding work. Acting as CCM Quality Analysis Team representative at internal and external project and BAU meetings as required.In order to perform the above duties, the Quality Analyst will have the following skills and attributes: A good eye for detail. Good communication skills, both written and oral. An understanding of the Software Lifecycle and be able to apply this knowledge to checks. Able to become proficient in the use of software relevant to checking activity, such as DiffPDF, Beyond Compare and utilise ASCII text editors such as Ultraedit, TextPad and Notepad++ and use PDF viewers/editors such as Adode Acrobat ProDC. Able to read and interpret data in all expected forms e.g. plain text, XML, AFP, PDF. Be confident, resourceful and diligent when checking any work and be tenacious in pursuing answers to queries or concerns about print output.Print industry or related experience would be advantageous but not essential.BCS-ISTQB Foundation certification and above would be desirable but not essential.Please note that due to the high volume of responses we receive, only successful applicants will be contacted.If youd like to learn more about this role, please get in touch with Natalie!Please only apply if you have the right to work in the UK.
