Job Description

Prospero teaching are working with a large secondary school in North Manchester, who are recruiting for a qualified Urdu teacher. The role will start in September and will initially be temporary and become permanent at Christmas. The role will be 3 daysa week.It is essential that you have qualified teacher status and that you have experience teaching Urdu to key stage 3 and 4 classes of varying abilities.CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Location - Manchester
  • Position - KS3/4 Urdu Teacher
  • Start date - September 2022
  • End date - Permanent
  • Contract type - temp to perm
  • Part time
  • Minimum rate of pay - £131.86 per day
  • Hours - 8:30 am - 4pm (full day)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • PGCE in Secondary teaching
  • Experienced teaching Urdu
  • Holds QTS
  • Hold a relevant degree with a good classification.
  • Be able to commit to the role in its entirety
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Recent experience teaching Urdu in a UK school
  • Provide two professional child related references, at least 1 of which to be from a UK school or educational establishment
