QA Engineer - Automation Tester - Flexible Working An opportunity has come up for a QA Engineer to join an energetic and dynamic award-winning digital agency in the heart of Manchesters tech hub. They take pride in their ability to consistently deliver high quality products and have worked with some leading companies.About The RoleHere, your creativity and passion for Testing will be highly regarded - they are keen to bring someone into the team who can begin Automating the Manual Test practices they already have in place so this is a great chance to shape their test function.For that reason, you will have to be capable and confident at Automation Testing autonomously, but your ambition will be rewarded with the progression to eventually build and lead your very own team! It doesnt matter which Automation tool you are used to using, you can Test however you see fit and lay the foundations to one day support an innovative QA team.You will be working across a range of different platforms and technologies - from iOS to Android, gaming environments to websites, this is the ideal job for someone who thrives on variety.About You:You will have the following strengths:** Solid commercial experience** Converting Acceptance Criteria into workable tests** Familiar with at least one Automation tool e.g. Selenium, Cucumber. Squish** Agile Methodology exposure** Excellent communication skills** TDD or BDD approach to testingAdvantageous skills include:** Creating Automation frameworks from scratch** Using SQL** Experience with Browserstack or similar** Knowledge of Jira specifically for bug trackingLocation:Located in Manchesters Northern Quarter, there are excellent bus and train transport links making it a comfortable commute for people who live all over the city.
