Job Description

We are Europe’s largest manager of holiday rental properties, with 110,000 units under management in over 600 destinations in 25 countries across the continent. Our purpose is simple - to delight owners and guests. The business operates more than 25 consumerbrands including Cottages.com, Novasol and Hoseasons.The vacation rental market has been growing strongly over the last few years, with people desiring the space, flexibility and uniqueness provided. The current global pandemic has only served to strengthen that trend. 2020 and 2021 saw unprecedented demand,and we’re not slowing down.This is a hybrid role with at least 3 days in our Manchester officeTo be part of the team responsible for the Accounts Payable function for our UK businesses.What you’ll be doingAs part of the Accounts Payable team, you’ll be responsible for ensuring all invoices are loaded and coded correctly ready for the weekly payment run, processing employee expenses and purchasing cards through to payment, ensuring our managed service processis followed weekly ensuring payment to caretakers and third parties and recharges back to our owners, dealing with partners, sundry invoicing and journal payments to name a few. As well as taking part in any system testing and any merger and acquisition workthat is required.We currently post approx. 45,000 invoices from various sources per year which can be manually inputted, uploaded via our Auto Capture routine or via an upload, serving over 5000 suppliers.You’ll also be liaising with various departments across the business providing continuous support where necessary.Key ResponsibilitiesWe’re a team full of energy and with a passion for what we do, so it’s key that you’re enthusiastic, driven and keen to be part of a team. What else do you need in order to succeed in this role

  • Have an inquisitive mind and love new challenges, our business is very fast paced and constantly changing
  • Previous Accounts Payable experience advantageous
  • Excellent numerical and communication skills
  • Experience of managing your own workload
  • Experience of dealing with spreadsheets - not just data entry, but pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s etc too
  • You’re passionate about travel and, in particular, UK holidays
  • Ideally, you’ll have had some experience of working within leisure/travel
