Job Description

PURCHASE LEDGER MANCHESTER£24,000 - 26,000 + HYBRID WORKINGIMMEDIATE INTERVIEWS AVAILABLEAre you currently seeking an exciting new experience within financeThen we have the position for you!Get Recruited is partnered with an award-winning law firm in Manchester who are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger. The Purchase Ledger will assist in the processing of invoices and payments for partners and suppliers within the deadlines set and reportdirectly to the team supervisor.MAIN DUTIES:

  • Preparation of purchase ledger payment runs and management of any supplier queries.
  • Posting purchase ledger and disbursement invoices that are sent to the team.
  • Preparation of reconciliations, reports and ad hoc information as reasonably requested.
  • Undertake any further work, tasks or projects as reasonably requested by the Finance
  • Manager or Assistant Accountant.
  • Managing the sales ledger process to ensure that invoices are prepared in a timely and
  • accurate manner.
  • Monitoring the sales ledger inbox to determine which requests to prioritise.
THE PERSON:
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Experience of using Quill systems would be beneficial
  • Legal background desirable but not essential
  • Intermediate level Excel skills.
