Job Description

Property Manager Manchester£20,000 - £23,000 OTELeading estate agentsFull study support offeredGraduates WelcomeMy client is one of Manchesters leading estate agents. They are looking for a confident and enthusiastic candidate to join their team. You will ideally have previous in the property industry however if you are an excellent administrator or customer serviceprofessional looking to get into property this could also be the role for you.You must have experience dealing with clients and customers face to face and over the telephone. The role lends itself to someone who is personable, charismatic and self-motivated with the ability to deal with people from all walks of life from propertyinvestors to exclusive tenants.Duties of a property manager will include:

  • Acting as a liaison between tenants and landlords
  • Maintaining properties within portfolio by addressing tenant complaints, conducting inspections, contracting repairs, and enforcing rules of occupancy
  • Working with management to ensure our practices remain compliant
  • Preparing legal documents including tenancy agreements and notices, and issuing for signature
  • Reviewing rents and negotiating increases/reductions in line with market values
  • Auditing property files and adverts for remarketing purposes
  • Reviewing inventories and checkout reports, negotiating deductions and refunding balances in a timely manner. When required, managing deposit disputes.
  • Managing change of tenancy requests in line with industry guidelines
  • Driving to Liverpool and Warrington on regular basis
Requirements of a property manager will include:
  • Estate agency knowledge/background is desirable
  • Motivated with the desire to succeed
  • Well presented with excellent communication skills.
  • Confident and positive attitude
  • Can show strong initiative and work well under pressure
  • Strong administration and customer service experience
