Job Description

FULL AND PART TIME HOURS AVAILABLE - FLEXIBLE / AD HOC WORK Morgan Hunt are delighted to be working with a housing provider who are looking to recruit a temporary Project Worker for a number of their services across Greater Manchester (Bolton and Bury area).This role is perfect for someone looking for flexible, ad hoc work as both full and part time hours can be accommodated for the right candidate.The role - Project Worker

  • Responsible for providing intensive tenancy support to an allocated caseload of vulnerable service users including ex offenders, those experience substance misuse and homelessness across accommodation based provision
  • Working with service users to identify and overcome any obstacles or barriers that may prevent tenancy sustainment, through strength based, personalised support plans
  • Working closely with external agencies / professionals to ensure a holistic support package is in place for each individual
  • Completing risk assessments and support plans based on the needs of each individual
  • Keeping accurate, up to date records of the progress and interaction with each service user
  • Completing building checks to ensure the safety of all service users within the project
The candidate
  • Experience of working with individuals with complex support needs (i.e. mental health, homelessness, substance misuse, ex offenders)
  • Experience of working within accomodation based services
  • An understanding of the strength based approach and how this can be used to promote positive outcomes and tenancy sustainability
  • Experience of signposting and working with various agencies / partners i.e. Local Authority Social Care, Probation Service
