Project Manager - Hospitality - Manchester - £50,000 - £55,000About the company We are on the lookout for a Project Manager to join a fantastic hospitality, restaurant and bars business!Our client operates a diverse number of sites ranging from clubs, restaurants and bars to grade II listed manor houses and industrial event spaces. This business is forward-thinking with a great reputation, ambitious growth plans and a superb culture.The successful candidate will project manage and oversee all fit out and refurbishment activities across the estate. You will be responsible for leading the fit out and refurbishment teams to deliver throughout the continued expansion and development of theproperty portfolio.This role is based across a range of sites so travel is required. Project Manager - The Rewards * Great salary* Company car* Bonus scheme* Company discountsProject Manager - Person Specification * Highly methodical in approach and able to manage own workload* Hands on project management experience* Able to be on-site to ensure projects are managed effectively* Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously* Ideally be RICS qualified, or qualified by experience* Works allocation, construction, fit out and refurbishment background* Proven track record of delivering successful refurbishment programmes whilst maintaining budget oversight, costs controls and managing deadlines* Strong communication skills across various operational stakeholders, finance teams and contractors* The sites are UK-wide, with a concentration in the North. Depending on where the projects are, its anticipated time away from home will be required.Requirements & Responsibilities * Ensuring the effective management of contracts, partners and workstreams* Monitoring projects and contractors on site whilst managing risks effectively* Maintaining budgetary and cost controls across various projects* Will consistently have an exemplary approach to health and safety* Will be the main point of contact between site management and delivery team* Development and maintenance of project documentation including project initiation, plans, risk and issue logs, business cases and exception reports* Ensuring site checks are undertaken* Work collaboratively with stakeholders at various sites to understand business requirements* Analysing design options, feasibility reports and proposals and ensuring they meet the project objective and site requirements whilst demonstrating value for money* Leading on the scope and specification of projects ensuring that statutory requirements are met* Undertaking site checks to agree or validate contractor and consultant work* Assisting with validating project valuations to ensure budgets are well balanced* Ensuring that continuous improvement activities are conducted to ensure that the correct action plans are implemented where needed* Delivering projects within the constraints of CDM requirements (where applicable)* Making sure that project specific Construction Phase Plans are reviewed and updated consistently* Responsible for managing site inspections, visits and contractor meetings whilst managing project documentation* Coordinating contractors and dealing with site plans to ensure the smooth delivery of projects* Will identify and seize opportunities to reduce carbon emissions across the lifecycle of projects and the whole of the estate* Will complete all projects to handover stage including sign off on all compliance documentation, join inspections and overall client sign offAbout UsDetail2Recruitment acts as an employment agency in respect of this position.
