Job Description

OverviewOverview Provide technical leadership to the BNYM Print environment, with continuous improvement of the technical environment & services across the Output Managed Service, Managed Print and broader end user experience. Responsible for oversight of vendor operations,technical and End User support of the service with a focus on Print reduction and digitization. Duties: Responsible for:

  • Governance and Support of all managed print services and their operating environment.
  • Provide oversight of vendor activities from a technical perspective, ensuring OLA/SLA based support is being delivered globally
  • Recommend Technical solutions to application problems within the print environment
  • Oversight of vendor-initiated Change Management and Disaster Recovery activities related to all print applications
  • Continuously review and develop updates to application documentation and runbooks ensuring compliance with Risk and Audit
  • Provide technical expertise and vendor direction on Business projects that require changes/updates to print applications.
  • Continued reduction in reliance of physical print services in favour of digitization
  • Hold a deep understanding of technologies and the current trends within your span of control.
  • Forming short to long term strategies, ensuring transformational change is implemented in a timely manner,
  • Building and maintaining strong, productive relationships with the business and acting as the responsible focal point for the delivery of business lead projects.
  • Ensure compliance and administrative functions are completed on time and accurately,
  • Ensure governance is adhered to and manage risks to meet or exceed internal and external audit requirements (This includes all Production and Disaster Recovery environments).
Key Skills:
  • Application Architecture and Management
  • PTx end to end process
  • Monitoring Tools ie MoogSoft
  • Network and Server support and its interaction with Print
  • Problem solving and product design
  • Project Management
Qualifications and/or experience:
  • 2-3 years Application ownership and management
  • Bachelors degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred
  • 4-6 years of related experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
  • Experience in supporting a secure printing environment
  • Knowledge of Kofax software, Red Titan, Paragon
