This company are a specialist manufacturer of technical textiles for the paper industry. They have several exciting opportunities that have arisen within their Centre of Excellence manufacturing site based in Wythenshawe, South Manchester. During the fulfilment of this role you will learn about woven fabric construction and preparation techniques, which provide the basic skills necessary for career progression into other areas as opening arise. No experience necessary as full training will begiven.Applicants should have the following:- A minimum of 5 GCSEs Grade A-C (or equivalent) and/or- NVQ Level 2 in Performing Manufacturing OperationsEssential:- Previous hands-on manufacturing experience- Good dexterity and hand-eye coordination- Excellent attention to detail- Be a team player- Willingness to learn and progress- Ability to work unsupervisedDesirable:- Experience of working in a continuous improvement culture- Knowledge of 5S, TPM and Lean manufacturing principles- Knowledge of textiles- Mechanically mindedAbout ThemWith a long family owned history dating back over 225 years, they continue to provide innovative, technical and quality focused products.
