Job Description

Leading International business looking for an experience IT Product Manager to help focus on the optimisation of current systems applications, as well as the introduction of new features and applications.This is a pioneering role to help engage with our application users and understand their interactions with systems applications; Gather information from stakeholders to help determine how application developments can deliver the best business value as wellas to act as the bridge between the development team and wider business teams, to help to identify opportunities for new features and applications, and understand technical challenges.Responsibilities will include

  • Engage with stakeholders in order to create user stories, identify new products, additional product requirements, or current pain points to feed into the development backlog.
  • Maintain the development backlog to manage new products and features using MoSCoW prioritization.
  • Identify any opportunities for new applications or features which will contribute to improved sales, operational efficiencies, or improved customer experience.
  • Ensure bugs are identified and quickly fixed by working alongside our application support team.
  • Work closely with key business users and the development management team to understand application usage, and define the success criteria of an application.
  • Attend sprint planning meetings, daily development standups, and ticket reviews where required.
  • Quality and user experience will be at the heart of everything you do, driving improvements and changes that help us deliver quicker to market whilst giving our customers the best possible experience.
Ideally
  • you will have plentiful experience of the role of a Product Management within an Agile product development team.
  • Experience of Agile processes and principles.
  • End to end product lifecycle knowledge.
  • Experience of defining, designing and delivering successful digital products in a retail environment.
  • Demonstrate technical and commercial experience.
  • Ability to analyse data and be able to demonstrate evidence-based decision making.
  • Awareness and understanding of the latest digital trends.
Preferable
  • An understanding of Java development technologies.
  • Experience of UX / UI design methodologies and practices.
