Job Description

Position: Product Executive Location: StretfordSalary: £25,000 - £30,000Duties

  • Prepare product and pricing information for tenders, bids, proposals and quotations
  • Identify relevant suppliers for each tender requirement
  • Review specification information from customers and suppliers, ensure correct products are recommended to customers, suggest alternatives where relevant and recommend preferred products to maximise profitability whilst meeting customer expectations
  • Review RFQ responses from suppliers and the Purchasing department, evaluate responses, investigate anomalies, obtain accurate information from suppliers thoroughly and quickly
  • Analyse product information and recommend selections and price points to support the bidding process
  • Review tender requirements and identify potential product issues and risks, support the Product Manager and Commercial Team with solutions to minimise risk whilst achieving customer requirements
  • Prepare relevant product data, e.g. Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), Technical Safety Data Sheets, Certificates, etc. to support the tender process
  • Maintain up to date product information as required throughout the life of the contract
  • Create MSDS for own-brand products as required
  • Pro-actively support contract mobilisation, ensure all products are created correctly and maintain product specification, pricing and technical data in AX/Webstore
  • Create and maintain product naming conventions within the systems
