The goal of the Portfolio Optimisation team is to support the growth of the Awaze portfolio of holiday rental properties in size, occupancy and revenue through internal initiatives, insights, and actions.With support of the team, the Portfolio Optimisation Executive will be the passionate champion of our Cottages and Hoseasons property portfolio, liaising with business stakeholders in the UK to improve performance - from the recruitment and website teams,to commercial, homeowner marketing, brand marketing and beyond.You will be responsible for analysing, tracking, and reporting on performance of properties, the shape and size of the portfolio, and identifying areas of underperformance and acting against them. You will have the platform to communicate ideas and makerecommendations, from single properties to portfolio wide initiatives. You may recommend and develop exciting new collections and features, or propose and deliver initiatives with imagery, content, reviews and more.The key remit is simply to drive positive change in the business and is ideal for those with previous experience in the tourism sector, brand, product, or analytical/insight roles. What the role most demands however, is enthusiasm, initiative, and confidenceto drive change in a multinational business.Whereas the focus will be on Cottages and Hoseasons, there may also be exposure to our European brand Novasol. The role may require some travel.No two days are the same in this dynamic role. Your tasks will be varied, but will include:Identifying opportunities to increase occupancy and revenue across the UK portfolioWith key focus on new and underperforming properties, review and analyse data to recommend actions across the businessImplement action plans and drive other teams to support where requiredProvide regular updates to key stakeholders on progress of actionsProperty data, features, and collectionsOngoing analysis on shape and size of portfolio, and the impact of features, concepts, collections, and more on performance.Ensure marketing and communications teams are fully briefed around key sales- and recruitment-driving features and collections, to maximise impact of communications to owners and guestso Be the gatekeeper for features, collections, ensuring criteria is clearand understood across the businesso Oversee data collection for any proposed new features and collectionso Oversee rollout of new features and collectionsImprove the perceived quality of the Cottages and Hoseasons property portfolioMonitor customer review scores and comments, and analyse trends, acting where appropriateUse review trends and average review scores to work with owners and the wider business on improving our servicesTeam PlayerProvide ad hoc support to the Portfolio Optimisation team and wider business by answering queries on the portfolioBe a key champion and internal cheerleader of our amazing Cottages and Hoseasons portfolioUndertake ad hoc property reviews and make recommendations as necessaryWhat well give you- This is an opportunity for you to join us at a pivotal point in time as we invest in our future- Youll be joining a team of genuine, passionate people- Youll have the freedom to choose the best way of working to get the job done.
