The Sourcing specialist will support the SIP (Session Internet Protocol) project implementation in Europe and work closely with the Category manager in reviewing incumbent Vendor Contracts, to confirm remaining terms etc.Key Responsibilities:* Implement, and manage tactical sourcing events within Indirect Sourcing including IT/Telecom category* Analyse spend data and identify opportunities in the specific category in order to drive cost reductions* Partner with internal stakeholders to understand current and future business needs, as well as external resource requirements* Influence key executive stakeholders to engage sourcing as a key partner in order to drive cost out of their 3rd party suppliers* Leverage e-sourcing and spend analysis tools to drive incremental year over year cost savings* Provide external industry benchmarking to better assess strategy and solutions within corporate services* Drive process improvements to create efficiencies in sourcing procedures and the interaction with corporate services and legalMinimum Requirements/Qualifications:* Must have an undergraduate college degree in Business or Finance; Masters degree preferred* Experience in sourcing various indirect or direct categories including, IT/Telecom* Advanced knowledge of contract terms* Ability to engage with the Global/Regional and Local IT & Finance contacts and influence decision making process* Advanced contract negotiation skills* Must be able to demonstrate experience in the IT/Telecom categories.* Strong analytical skills* Strong knowledge of sourcing process and practical application of the process to sourcing projects* Strong influencing, project management and change management skills* Strong computer technology skills* Excellent teamwork skillsAdecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
