Procurement ManagerAn outstanding opportunity at a global, dynamic and highly respected life sciences organisation. Responsible for delivering a number of key transformational initiatives across the Corporate Services & Marketing Procurement categories.This role requires theindividual to serve as the key procurement lead for agile project delivery with flawless execution across a matrixed Procurement team serving one or more countries & business areas (e.g. divisions, franchises, corporate function).Location: RemoteDaily Rate: 400 - 500 per day PAYEDuration: 3-6 months initiallyRole Summary:Drive/Implement UK,IE,Nordics strategic goals from overall Procurement strategy- Successful implementation of global, regional and country initiatives in the professional services, learning & development and digital tools for Marketing and print & promotion categories ensure key stakeholder alignment and customer satisfaction.- Manage quality of the country/cluster end-to-end Procurement process incl. compliance to policies, strategies and processes. Support seamless integration of capability centres into the end-to-end process.Manage relationships with stakeholders- Serve as key contact for stakeholders for specific projects, working within a matrix across the Cluster procurement team area of responsibility.- Build effective relationships of mutual trust and understanding.- Understand business priorities and ensure Procurement activities effectively support business strategies for the Cluster plans.- Transmit relevant business insights to their local teams, global/regional Category Management as well to sourcing managers and buyers.Manage supplier relationships- Manage and build effective relationships with key suppliers in key projects to drive value for the company through flawless delivery.- Ensure effective local implementation of global supplier strategies- Act a agile delivery lead for Procurement domain within key programmes such as mergers & acquisitions, new digital tools adoption and consolidated supplier adoptionEnsure effective communication- Ensure effective communication between the different Procurement functions, such as Operations, Capability centres, global/regional category management, compliance.- Provide regular updates to Head of Procurement for capture in CFO reporting / CTS meetings- Serve as the key contact for stakeholders in the key projects and ensure that business needs/requirements are reflected in procurement activities.Experience/ Qualifications Required:Bachelor degree required in Business, Organization development or similar; Masters degree preferred.Additional qualifications (Prince 2, SixSigma, CIPS, CIM Marketing.) or similar professional qualifications preferred.Multiple years of procurement experience in large multinational organization preferably Pharma experienceBroad Indirect commercial experience, Corporate Services and Marketing ServicesSignificant experience in project management /agile delivery on enterprise/ regional level projectsExperienced in Communicating at all levels within stakeholder communityIn-life development of supplier relationships / governance model developmentProven track record of driving delivering of value & targets.Please apply by sending your CVs to
