Personal Assistant / Bookkeeper Job ManchesterAn old client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for an experienced Personal Secretary to take on an exciting role to be based in Central Manchester. This is a full-time and needs a candidate with strong numeric skills as you will have Bookkeeping responsibilities. It is also important that you have and strong experience working as a Private Secretary for a Private client / Family office rather than a commercial background.You will be working for a HNW Business Executive and the role will be a mix of managing administration of an estate, property portfolio and staff to assisting with personal administrative and financial matters.Main duties:PA & Executive Duties:Diary management for principal, family and staffMeeting and event organisation for internal and external partiesOrganising deliveries and activity on the estateMaking travel arrangementsHR:Managing the onboarding process of new staff. Including, where relevant, ensuring proper visa processes are followedRunning a small payroll of permanent staff and contractors with assistance from a professional serviceFinance:Management of personal bank accounts and credit cards for Principal and family including daily reconciliation and basic cash forecastingOccasional processing of invoices for small private businesses and estateLiaising with company finance and Principal’s personal accountant to assist in the overall management of the Principal’s financial affairsSkills:Intermediate computer skills i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook Confidence in picking up new software such as an accountancy packageHigh level of written and spoken communicationConfidence in use of internet bankingStrong attention to detailAbility to demonstrate authority when the situation requires itSome book-keeping or club treasury responsibilities would be beneficialFlexibility and the ability to prioritise work effectively.Start date - ASAPSalary - negotiable depending on experience Required skills
