Job Description

At N Brown we are looking for a Print Designer to join our team. Working at N Brown in a Manchester City Centre office base with parking, socially distancedworkstationsand sanitizing stations around the businessyou will receive a benefits package including 24 days annual leave (plus 8 bank holidays) with the option to buy an additional 10 over the year, company pension with up to 6% N Brown contribution, life assurance, private medical insurance, annual bonus scheme, incredible colleague discount across all our N Brown Group brands (Simply Be,Jacamo,JD Williams,Fashion World,Figleaves,Marisota,Ambrose Wilsonto name a few), local restaurant discounts across Manchester’s Northern Quarter, onsite café at great subsidised rates, great tech to enable you to not only make doing your job easy but to also allow you to work fromanywhere with a great WIFI connectionplus flexible working, as well as staggered start times, we know these are different times and have embraced them to ensure our staff are supported.As the Print Designer your responsibilities will include:- To lead, design and develop inspiring seasonal print collections across Womenswear, Menswear and Home categories, creating a strong and distinct handwriting for each brand and the customer.- The delivery and creative output of the print and pattern collections.- Working alongside the wider design and buying team to proactively and confidently lead and implement the print directions.- Interpreting the trends in a strong and compelling, yet commercial and appropriate way.The successful Print Designer will have the following skills and experience:- Well organised, flexible and able to work at pace in a multi-category and multi-brand setting.- Great communication skills and thrive in a supportive team environment.- Willing to travel overseas, and UK-wide as required to visit trade fairs and similar inspirational trips.- Have a real passion, energy and enthusiasm for print design, supported by proven designer experience, ideally within a similar team environment.- Have a detailed knowledge and experience of using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.JD Williams / N Brown group have been trading in the heart of Manchester for over 150 years.
