Are new product builds and innovation included in your current teams technical roadmapAre you stuck on legacy solutions and finding yourself doing too much BAUEven though there is financial unease across the world at the moment, many tech businesses are doing incredibly well. So, dont feel like you have to stay where you are if youre not enjoying what you do!A successful SaaS company are hiring for a Principal Software Engineer. They have seen growth and increased demand for their products this year as more companies adopt a remote working model. Theyve also recently received investment to accelerate the build of not one, but two new products! With an impressive customer base of some of the largest tech companies, youll be solving unique technical challenges at scale. As Principal Software Engineer, youll be working in a tech team of around 12 engineers and lead a sub-team of 3. Your team will specifically be building out two new products which will fill the technical roadmap for the foreseeable future, which means no legacy work! The solutions are complex and have a data processing heavy back end.Youll be developing high-quality code on the back end of the new products, which includes APIs/integrations, microservices and data storage solutions. Its a DevOps/Automation first environment here, so if you love all things cloud and automation, youll fit right in.Your experience will include multiple server-side languages, and youll have a "best tool for the job" approach. Youll also be comfortable with serverless, have an appreciation for solution scalability and have some NoSQL experience. The tech stack youll be working with is modern, so can facilitate a mixture of approaches along with new ideas for different features. Currently, most of their solutions are written in Python, but they also have some in Java, and one of their solutions will include some C#. They mainly use GCP but also have some AWS services along with a mixture of NoSQL data stores. This company have been remote for years, so you can be based anywhere in the UK!So if youre a polyglot programmer and ready to work on some new solutions, apply or get in touch with Marc Powell for further information.Well reply to everyone. Please note: were not able to accept applications from outside the UK at this time.
