Job Description

Role overview:You will be expected to build strong relationships, internally and externally and be able to influence, shape and challenge across the strategy and policy sphere to drive an integrated approach to freight and logistics and economic growth within TfN andwith our partners. You will work collaboratively with other STBs and and provide guidance and help shape STB-related policy as necessary.You will also initiate and co-ordinate the development and implementation of new and existing strategy and policy initiatives, support TfN’s on-going evidence base development and work closely with our research team on the delivery of the Northern PowerhouseIndependent Economic Review (NPIER).What we’re looking for:The successful candidate will be a senior manager with experience in strategy and policy development in transport and/or economic growth.
