Principal Acoustic Consultant - ManchesterWe have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Principal Acoustician to join a global leader in advisory and environmental solutions in relation to sustainability. My client is seeking a candidate with a wealth of knowledge in relation to building andarchitectural acoustics so applicants should be experienced in sound insulation testing across a range of sectors. Due to your extensive experience working for UK consultancies, you will be assisting the Directors in the technical growth and development ofthe Acoustics team as well as focussing on the commercial client lead work also.Candidates should be educated to MSc level in Acoustical Engineering & have a minimum of 7 years commercial experience working in the UK. It is essential that candidates are experienced in building and architectural acoustics; experience in environmentalnoise is preferred but not essential. Applicants should hold Institute of Acoustics membership.Duties will include:
