Job Description

Principal Acoustic Consultant - ManchesterOur client is an award-winning environmental consultancy based in Manchester. Due to strategic company growth & an increase in workload, they are now hiring for an experienced Acoustician to join the team!Our client is flexible with remote working, but it is required that the successful candidate attends the office several days a week.Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years commercial experience with notable experience of project and team management.
  • IOA Membership.
  • Noise modelling experience - CadnaA
  • Fantastic communication skills!
  • Educated to MSc/BSc level in Acoustics or another relevant discipline.
    • Duties:
  • Manage a variety of projects within the Acoustics team.
  • Liaise with clients and consultants.
  • Business development.
  • Manage your team of Acousticians including confirming calculations and reports.
  • Fee proposals.
  • Technical report writing.
  • Site visits & active involvement in acoustic surveys / assessments.
